Hayden Christensen to Reprise the Role of Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka Season 2

Reunited once more are Snips and Skyguy.

During Star Wars Celebration, Hayden Christensen would be coming back as Anakin Skywalker in Season 2 of Ahsoka was confirmed in the event.

Even though it has not been exposed how long of a role Anakin will play in the Ashoka second season, fans are certain to appreciate that Ahsoka’s journey with her former master is distant from over.

Christensen appeared the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration and was talking about what it was like returning to the character.

“It was a dream to get to do,” Christensen stated. “The way they conceived how to do it was brilliant in getting to explore the World Between Worlds. I thought it was all really exciting.”

Ahsoka series creator Dave Filoni has also added as a joke saying that he needed to find a way to work with Christensen/Anakin again and thus had to “create whole other dimensions to make it happen.”

Christensen went on to explain that they had quite a number of talks about what else Anakin was doing during the Clone Wars.

“All of this had been offered well in the world of animated, but I was truly enthusiastic to perform that in live action,” Christensen said. “As much as I adore the traditional Jedi robes I put on for the duration of the prequels, it was sensational to get to see Anakin with a different look.”

Far along in the panel, Filoni spoke about how their shared work experience with George Lucas facilitated to form a bond when shaping how to bring back Anakin again. This let them clear in each other’s gaps in awareness and let them build a truly full clarification of the character.

“I constantly have George’s voice in the thinking of my mind saying, ‘faster, more powerful!” Christensen added.
